Ten years ago, I moved to Camp Hill with my husband Tony, my daughter Madeline (13), and my step-daughter Evelyn (25). In searching for a place to call home, we were impressed with Camp Hill's charming Market Street, vibrant library, beautiful parks, and excellent school system.
I am so appreciative that I have had the opportunity to establish roots in Camp Hill and hope to give back to the community by serving on borough council. I am running for council to be your voice in local government. I ask for your support and your vote this fall.
While I grew up in New Jersey, I have always been attracted to Central Pennsylvania. I attended Dickinson College in Carlisle, where I graduated with a degree in biology in 1994. The following fall I headed to Bloomington, Indiana, to pursue my doctorate degree in ecology at Indiana University.
Eager to return to the region and begin my career, I accepted a position as an assistant professor at Susquehanna University, where I have worked for the past 16 years.
